Amanda and Roy met through mutual friends. He knew she was the one he would marry within a couple of months, it took Amanda a little bit longer. One of their most memorable dates was visiting Yellow Springs in Ohio, and taking a hike to the waterfall in Glen Helen Park. Roy proposed on the first night of a romantic weekend getaway in a cabin at Hocking Hills. The Great Smoky Mountains was one of Roy's favorite places to visit growing up, but Amanda had never been before. After doing some research they decided that LeQuire Field in Cades Cove was the perfect place for their wedding ceremony. About 20 family members traveled to Tennessee to witness their vows on a hot summer day.
"We got married in LeQuire Field in Cades Cove. We had about 20 close family members in attendance with us. It was hot but everything was wonderful! We highly recommend New Beginnings photography. We lost our keys during the ceremony and Eric was so helpful with getting everything sorted out. Our pictures are beautiful and the officiant was wonderful!"
